I don't need to tell you that racial disparity in healthcare remains a major issue in America. Study after study indicates, despite steady improvements in the overall health of Americans, minorities experience a lower quality of health services, are less likely to receive routine medical procedures and have higher rates of morbidity and mortality than non-minorities.&#x0D;

&lt;/B&gt;After more than 4 months of negotiations and threats of a strike over proposed cuts to sick time, two nursing unions at Lawrence &amp;amp; Memorial Hospital, New London voted overwhelmingly Nov. 17 to ratify new contracts, the &lt;I&gt;Norwich Bulletin&lt;/I&gt; reported.&lt;BR&gt;&#x0D;
